On May 29, the 40th Anniversary Celebration of Friendship Between Anhui Province and Lower Saxony and the China-Germany (Anhui) Economic and Trade Cooperation and Exchange Promotion Conference was held in Hefei, Anhui Province. Liu Qingfeng, Executive Chairman of the Anhui Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of iFLYTEK, was invited to attend the conference and delivered a speech. He introduced iFLYTEK's AI Open Platform and pointed out that it has assembled over 390,000 developer teams from around the world. In the automotive sector, a benchmark for China-Germany cooperation, iFLYTEK's multilingual technology empowers China’s in-vehicle human-machine interface. Of the top 10 Chinese automakers to venture overseas, eight have partnered with iFLYTEK. On March 13 of this year, Volkswagen Anhui unveiled its first model equipped with the iFLYTEK SPARK Large Model, "ID.UNYX". Currently, iFLYTEK is collaborating with over 20 mainstream automakers, including Volkswagen, Chery, and FAW, on large model applications.
“We look forward to further strengthening cooperation with relevant enterprises in Lower Saxony in fields such as automobiles, finance, telecommunications, and mobile terminals.” As soon as Liu Qingfeng concluded his speech, the corresponding German subtitles appeared in real time on the large screens on both sides of the event venue. This impressive demonstration highlighted the capabilities of iFLYTEK SimulTrans, which provided real-time Chinese-German tranion, translation and on-screen display throughout the event.
Powered by iFLYTEK's advanced AI technologies in speech recognition, speech tranion, and machine translation, iFLYTEK SimulTrans can perform real-time speech recognition, including mixed Chinese-English speech recognition, and translate Chinese speech into multiple languages such as German, English, French, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and Arabic. iFLYTEK SimulTrans also offers comprehensive meeting recording capabilities, providing a subtitle bar mode and a multilingual full-screen mode to cater to diverse meeting requirements. Participants can scan QR codes or wear interpretation headphones to access multilingual voice broadcasts anytime and anywhere. At present, iFLYTEK SimulTrans has served over 400,000 conferences in 50+ countries and regions, reaching over 400 million viewers.
The iFLYTEK Translation Machine also made an appearance at the event, providing translation services for Chinese and German participants. Since its launch in 2016, the iFLYTEK Translation Machine has undergone continuous iterations and is now entering its 4.0 era, offering users solutions for cross-language communication needs in various scenarios. Currently, the iFLYTEK Translation Machine offers online translation in 85 languages and covers 200+ countries and regions. Equipped with iFLYTEK SPARK Large Model technology, the iFLYTEK Translation Machine has the ability to automatically identify languages, eliminating the need for users to manually select languages. This intelligent feature enhances cross-language communication, making it smoother and more effortless.
Since its establishment in 1999, iFLYTEK has been dedicated to researching core AI technologies such as intelligent speech, machine translation, and cognitive intelligence, and has consistently maintained its position at the forefront of the world.
