2025 International Forum on Poverty Governance and Global Development Held: Xunfei Healthcare Drives Rural Revitalization with AI

The 2025 International Forum on Poverty Governance and Global Development (Nujiang Forum) was recently convened in Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province (Nujiang Prefecture). The forum brought together over 300 participants, including ambassadors, government officials, and experts from 34 countries and international organizations such as the United Nations. Under the theme "Together Promote Rural Revitalization and Common Development," attendees engaged in in-depth discussions, sharing insights on poverty governance and rural development to collectively advance global modernization and sustainable progress.

Yin Dahai, Vice President of iFLYTEK and CEO of Xunfei Healthcare, addressed the forum with a keynote speech titled "Co-Creating a New Vision for Rural Revitalization in Nujiang with Artificial Intelligence." He shared practical achievements in applying AI technologies to address essential livelihood needs and explored new approaches for AI-driven, characteristic development in Nujiang Prefecture.

During the forum, to facilitate deep integration of AI technologies with Nujiang Prefecture's socioeconomic development and support regional high-quality growth, iFLYTEK and the Nujiang Prefecture People's Government reached a cooperation consensus. Guided by the principles of "complementary advantages, resource sharing, collaborative innovation, and mutual benefit," the two parties signed a strategic cooperation agreement. This partnership aims to jointly advance the in-depth application of AI technologies in critical public service domains including education, healthcare, and urban management. By enhancing public service efficiency, it will drive industrial upgrading and modernize social governance in Nujiang Prefecture, ultimately establishing a regional benchmark for digital transformation.

The collaboration will focus primarily on smart healthcare solutions. Leveraging iFLYTEK Healthcare's advanced AI model technology and building on the existing prefecture-wide AI-assisted diagnosis system, this initiative aims to significantly improve diagnostic efficiency and accuracy while achieving true integration of medical treatment and disease prevention. A key component will be the establishment of a comprehensive chronic disease management system across the entire prefecture. This system will utilize AI to develop customized management plans for patients and implement coordinated online and offline programs for chronic disease prevention and health education. Through these efforts, the partnership seeks to enhance residents' health awareness and self-management capabilities, ultimately leading to better health outcomes for the entire population.

To ensure effective operation of these smart healthcare solutions and achieve regional medical information interoperability, both parties will jointly establish a unified medical "digital intelligence foundation" for Nujiang. Serving as the core strategic platform for regional healthcare digital transformation, this foundation will integrate critical elements including user data, applications, capabilities, security, and oversight. By comprehensively optimizing healthcare service processes and data management, the initiative aims to enhance the overall digitalization and intelligentization of Nujiang's healthcare sector, steadily progressing toward the goal of universal health information management. Through this integrated platform, residents will gain access to more convenient, efficient, and high-quality healthcare services.
