Care & Rehabilitation Expo China 2024 | iFLYTEK Showcases Multiple Assistive Technology Achievements Including Rehabilitation Robots
November 28-30, 2024, Care & Rehabilitation Expo China 2024 were held in Beijing. As one of the top three global and leading rehabilitation assistive device exhibitions in China, this expo was themed "Technology Empowerment, Shared Well-being", and focused on showcasing the latest innovations in assistive technology in recent years. The expo attracted more than 360 domestic and foreign enterprises and institutions to participate.
iFLYTEK's assistive technology subsidiary, Aibo Intelligent Technology, made its debut at this exhibition, showcasing a range of products including the iFLYTEK SPARK Large Model, the AI Transparent Screen for barrier-free communication, rehabilitation robots, hearing aids, and solutions for assistive technology demonstration zones, attracting many visitors to experience and reports from CCTV and other media outlets.
In the partner area, CometLight showcased a comprehensive solution for inclusive education for the blind based on artificial intelligence technology; FingerDance brought its self-developed sign language large model to help people with disabilities solve the obstacles in accessing information.
In May of this year, the China Disabled Persons' Federation and iFLYTEK jointly established the General Artificial Intelligence Assistive Technology Joint Laboratory. Leveraging general artificial intelligence technology, the lab focuses on promoting assistive technology achievements and conducting forward-looking research to further strengthen collaborative innovation in assistive technology. It aims to develop assistive large models and build general artificial intelligence capabilities for people with motor function disabilities, hearing impairments, visual impairments, and mental health conditions, while also empowering and upgrading assistive products. Since its establishment, the joint laboratory has launched AI-assisted vocational skills training programs and the AI Technology for Disability Innovation and Creativity Competition. It is also constructing a technology-enabled assistive technology demonstration zone to promote the in-depth application and practice of artificial intelligence in the field of disability assistance.
In the future, iFLYTEK will continue to deepen its efforts in the field of assistive technology. It will work with more partners to jointly promote innovation and development in assistive technology, making technology more inclusive and AI truly heartwarming for everyone.
