iFLYTEK's SPARK Smart Blackboard Wins Global Smart Education Innovation Prize

The 2024 Global Smart Education Conference was held in Beijing from August 18 to 20. Centered around the theme of "Educational Transformation and International Understanding", the conference organized plenary sessions, parallel sessions, high-level dialogues, and roundtable discussions, focusing on education policies, technologies, and practices. Research findings, cooperation plans, and outstanding cases and solutions were also presented. At the closing ceremony of the Global Smart Education Conference, the winners of the first Global Smart Education Innovation Prize were announced. iFLYTEK's SPARK Smart Blackboard stood out from numerous competitors and won the "Technology Innovation Prize" of the Global Smart Education Innovation Prize due to its advantages in technological innovation, application empowerment, and industry leadership.

Since its launch in May 2023, iFLYTEK's SPARK AI has undergone six iterations, continuously empowering education. Focusing on the primary battleground of classroom teaching, the SPARK Smart Blackboard, equipped with SPARK V4.0, achieves a closed loop of pre-class, in-class, and post-class teaching through the integration of hardware and software, as well as the combination of large classroom screens and teachers' and students' intelligent terminals. This innovation promotes large-scale personalized teaching and contributes to both teaching innovation and quality improvement.

Large-scale application data has revealed that when preparing lessons, teachers can now reduce the time spent on creating unit teaching designs and task group lesson plans from 2 hours to just 25 minutes. During lectures, teachers can directly link handwritten notes on the interactive whiteboard to a resource library, enabling them to visually represent abstract concepts such as chemical equations, function graphs, and solid geometry, thereby enhancing student comprehension. With a voice-activated smart pen, teachers can control various functions of the large screen with simple voice commands, saving 6 minutes per class that would otherwise be spent walking back and forth to the podium and improving classroom efficiency by 80%. After class, the SPARK smart blackboard can automatically generate micro-lesson recordings based on the actual classroom situation and organize the discourse, allowing teachers and students to promptly review and receive feedback, thereby promoting learning outcomes.

In July 2024, iFLYTEK's SPARK Smart Blackboard was successfully selected as one of the top 30 winners of the 2024 World Artificial Intelligence Conference SAIL Award (Super AI Leader), and it was also chosen as one of the six most representative projects in the "AI+" category, being the sole winner in the "AI+Education" category.

During the concurrent Smart Education Exhibition at the Global Smart Education Conference, iFLYTEK showcased its SPARK large language model and its latest applications in the education field. Products such as the SPARK Smart Blackboard and Intelligent Grading Machine (teachers' AI assistants), AI psychological partners (emotional companions for teenagers), "Xiao Fei" robots (AI learning companions for students), and the Education Digital Base (an education-specific operating system supporting educational informatization) made their debut, attracting numerous visitors to learn and experience.
