This standard is applicable to quality control of data used in supervised learning, unsupervised learning, semi-supervised learning, reinforcement learning, and analytics. It provides a common methodology and guidance for various organizations. These guidelines cover the entire data lifecycle, including data acquisition, preparation, labeling, evaluation, and utilization.

The standard was approved for development in August 2020. After numerous discussions and revisions, including working group proposals, technical committee deliberations, national member body voting, and international draft standard voting, it was finally officially released by ISO/IEC in July 2024.

Data is one of the most important and critical foundational elements of new-generation artificial intelligence, especially in the current wave of generative AI. The quality of data directly impacts the quality and credibility of the content generated by AI systems. In the process of AI technology innovation and application implementation, iFLYTEK has always attached great importance to data governance and strictly controlled data quality. By driving AI technology applications in a wider range of fields with high-quality data, iFLYTEK promotes the greater usability, reliability, and trustworthiness of AI products and services, creating more value for society.
