iFLYTEK Tokyo Media Event: Expanding Footprint in Japan & Fostering Global Business
On July 29, iFLYTEK held its first media event in Tokyo, Japan, where it showcased its full range of AI hardware products and shared numerous success stories in the Japanese market. The event attracted over 30 mainstream media outlets and key opinion leaders, including Kyodo News, Toyo Keizai and Nikkei TECH.
Zhao Xiang, Vice President of iFLYTEK, presented an overview of the company's history and vision during the event. He stated: "Japan is one of iFLYTEK’s most important global markets. Over the past few years, our products have brought real value to many Japanese users. Providing an efficient and convenient recording experience, iFLYTEK's smart recording pens have played a significant role for professionals in industries such as news media, education and healthcare."
During the event, Zhao Xiang also unveiled the company's upcoming product releases in Japan for the second half of the year. He announced that iFLYTEK will introduce a series of new flagship products in the fourth quarter of 2024, including smart notebooks and smart earphones. These new products will further enrich iFLYTEK's product portfolio in the Japanese market while also demonstrate the company's commitment and capability to expand its global market.
Zhao Xiang expressed his utmost confidence in the future of the Japanese market, stating, "We look forward to connecting with more Japanese consumers with our innovative products and promoting AI technology in Japan."
Yoshiki Kameda, head of iFLYTEK's Japanese branch, introduced iFLYTEK’s SR302 and SR502 smart recording pens, which were the highlights of the event. The SR302 was introduced as Japan's first fully offline recording pen, offering secure and reliable tranion services. Moreover, the pen comes equipped with iFLYTEK's self-developed noise reduction algorithm, which is capable of accurately capturing human speech. Meanwhile, sales manager Ms. Chieko Morisawa further demonstrated the pens' real-world applications, showcasing the impact they have had improving work efficiency for professionals in law, academia and medicine.
After the event, Yoshiki Kameda conducted a product demonstration for the Japanese media. The attendees were highly impressed with the recording pen's performance after experiencing it firsthand. Several experts and guests also shared their views on iFLYTEK's products. A representative from Kyodo News said, "iFLYTEK's smart recording pens have seriously streamlined our work and boosted productivity." A reporter from Toyo Keizai also said, "We have full confidence in iFLYTEK's AI technology and look forward to more cooperation in the future."
iFLYTEK will continue to cultivate the Japanese market, accelerate the launch of more AI products and provide users with more intelligent services and experiences. The company plans to establish partnerships with multiple Japanese companies and institutions in the coming years to jointly promote the development and application of AI technology.
